You know who you are.
You made choices that changed your life forever.
Those choices affected the lives of those around you and countless others.
Those choices reach far beyond the moment and into future generations.
How does a person properly acknowledge this? Words seem small and ill equipped to convey the true meaning behind them, but they are all we have. They are the only tools at our disposal to recognize those who truly do a job that most Americans won’t do.
So, to all of you who have served, thank you.
To all of you who are still serving, thank you.
To those thinking of serving, thank you.
